As hip hop dance continues to influence culture world-wide, influencing even classical ballet, we benefit from her strong stewardship of this vital form of dance in our School. Acrobatics is another skill area that is increasingly necessary to all forms of dance. Miss Lauren is a certified Acro instructor with Acrobatic Arts as well as an Acro Dance Adjudicator certified with the Acro Dance Teachers Association. She also holds certifications with Alixa Flexibility and is a proud member of YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance).
She is an alumni member of Kill the Lights Co., the Hip Hop Company based out of Harbour Dance Center, and has danced for companies such as Sonic Nation Radio Station and KIA Motors. Lauren has also danced for artists such as Brian McKnight, Charlotte Fisher, Jackie Valentine, LowKita, Laurell, and Michael Buble.
Lauren believes that a teacher should never stop being a student. She continues to train and learn to further herself and her students. Lauren has a passion for teaching and thrives on watching students grow. She hopes that she can pass along her love, and passion to inspire other to be the best that they can be. We are very fortunate to be able to offer her sound pedagogy and cutting edge choreography at all levels of hip hop, acrobatics, and many other styles of dance at Caulfield School of Dance.
