Caulfield School of Dance Closed Courses, Performance Training Company, and Professional Training Division were in Duncan, BC competing at Synergy Dance competition from Thursday, March 7 through to Monday, March 11, 2019.

Not only was one of our groups the Overall Champion of the Synergy Duncan competition, three of our soloists were awarded the Top Scores for their age categories (Mini, Junior, or Teen) across All Genres too!
Congratulations to “Can’t Take My Mind Off of You”, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle, for being the Highest Scoring Lyrical number in the competition (All ages), and all three judges’ selection as the Synergy “Showdown” Champion; and
Lincoln Russo for being awarded the Top Mini Dancer of the Year for his Tap Solo, Age 7, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle;
Mia Reitenbach for being awarded the Top Junior Dancer of the Year with her Lyrical Solo, Age 12, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle:

At the competition’s finals event, “Synergy Showdown”, the following four numbers, selected as the Highest Scoring numbers of their genres, competed and will also be advancing to the Synergy Provincial Finals in May:
“Can’t Take My Mind Off of You”, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle, Top Scoring Lyrical Group, received the trophy for Lyrical Group of the Year; also selected as the one Final Overall Top Group of the competition;
“Dark World”, Acro Group Age 13, choreographed by Lauren Taylor, the Top Scoring Acro Group, received the trophy for Acro Group of the Year;
“I Might Be Wrong”, Contemporary Group Age 15, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle, the Top Scoring Contemporary Group, received the trophy for Contemporary Group of the Year;
“Zoot Suit Riot”, Tap Group Age 15, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle, the Top Scoring Tap Group.
