Celine Dimzon – Summer Intensive Guest Teacher

This August we are thrilled to be welcoming Celine Dimzon as a guest instructor for our Summer Intensives.

Summer Multidisciplinary Intensives are available for ages 8-18. Week A runs Aug 16-20 and Week B runs Aug 23-27. Visit Summer Programs for more details or register now.

Born and raised in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Celine is a graduate of Tri-City Dance Centre after thirteen years of learning under their Professional Training and Company Programs. From this time in her life, she was instilled with a very strong work ethic and technical background in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, tap, contemporary, and hip hop, where she won awards in solos, duos and group dance competitions. As a result, her dancing has been known to be full of energy and tenacity.

She furthered her studies at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, where she obtained her certificate in Commercial Dance. She participated in various mentorship-based training programs such as Footnotes, led by Andrew “Pyro” Chung and Glizzi Demariano, as well as Kill The Lights Company, directed by Ken Yung and Shauna Smith.

Celine continues to pursue her love of dance and is currently competing locally and internationally alongside her friends on Northside, under the direction of both Kelvin Tu and Adrian Vendiola. In 2019, She joined the Street Kings as a faculty member under Darylle Johnson. She is currently teaching weekly at Praise Team Studio and directs Cookies N Cream (CNC) alongside Mickee Reyes.
