Crystal Wills has been very busy this fall. Not only did she prepare her Vocational candidates for their R.A.D. exams, teach seventeen courses, and choreograph numerous solos and group pieces at Caulfield School of Dance; she also guest taught at The Move Dance Centre in Fort St. John for a week; and was the assistant choreographer to Monica Proenca on the Lifetime feature film “Center Stage 3”.
Crystal’s fellow CSD instructor Hailley Caulfield Postle, and Caulfield School of Dance student Lauren Phillips also spent several days working as dancers on the movie, which is expected to open in theatres next year.
Monica Proenca, the choreographer of “Center Stage 3”, will be doing her Winter Workshop over 2 Sundays in January, the 17th and 24th, at Caulfield School of Dance. The workshop is open to all dancers, not just Caulfield School of Dance students. Monica is an expert Horton modern dance technique teacher as well as an innovative choreographer. I hope many of our students take advantage of this opportunity to work with her.
