Alyssa Parry - Artistic Director

Alyssa Parry holds the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) and brings extensive leadership, experience, and expertise within the Royal Academy of Dance program. She has guided students and faculty throughout the Lower Mainland and internationally, supporting dancers at every stage of their R.A.D. training and examination journey with exceptional care, clarity, and the highest professional standards.
Throughout her career, Alyssa has choreographed award-winning works, coached dancers for prestigious international competitions, and successfully prepared students for Royal Academy of Dance examinations across all levels. Her teaching philosophy combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of healthy dancer development, artistry, and individual growth.
Alyssa’s formal training began under the mentorship of Deborah Cameron, Flora Pigeau, Rachael Poirier, and Barry Coulter. Her performance career spans ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, commercial dance, and film, including performances with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet and appearing alongside Green Day at Lollapalooza. At just sixteen years of age, she received a scholarship to train for a year at The Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, where she further developed her versatility as a performer. She later enjoyed an international career as a professional dancer and singer with Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line before returning home early to take over her sister’s dance school—a decision that ultimately led her to discover her true passion for mentoring the next generation of dancers.
Alyssa’s passion for excellence and meticulous attention to technical detail have helped shape the careers of countless young artists. Her former students have gone on to train and perform with some of the world’s most respected institutions and companies, including The Royal Ballet School (London), Junior Ballet Antwerp, Semperoper Ballett, Arles Youth Ballet Company, and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, where one former student became a Principal Dancer.
Her students have also earned some of the dance world’s highest honours, including winning the Prix de Lausanne, the Hope Award at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), and numerous international scholarships, titles, and championship awards. Others have pursued successful professional careers with organizations including Tokyo Disney Resort, Disney, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Carnival Cruise Line.
As Artistic Director of Caulfield School of Dance, Alyssa is dedicated to inspiring excellence while fostering confidence, resilience, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance. She believes every dancer deserves an environment where they feel challenged, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential—both inside and outside the studio.
Under Alyssa’s leadership, Caulfield School of Dance continues to be recognized for developing technically accomplished, versatile, and compassionate artists who are prepared for both professional careers and lifelong enjoyment of dance.

Keeley Cavanagh - Executive Director
Born and raised in Cloverdale, Keeley began dancing at just two years old and quickly developed a love for Tap, Jazz, Stage, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. As a competitive dancer, she received numerous special awards and achievements, particularly in Stage, Hip Hop, and Tap. She became known for her strong performance quality, stage presence, and natural ability to entertain and connect with an audience.
Keeley’s passion for teaching began at a young age, with her younger brother as her first student. By the age of ten, she had started a dance club at her elementary school, showing an early interest in leadership, choreography, and bringing people together through movement.
She graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Education. Throughout her studies, she continued teaching, choreographing for school dance teams, and expanding her training through professional programs in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Vancouver. Her background in education continues to influence her approach to curriculum, student development, and age-appropriate instruction.
A versatile instructor and award-winning choreographer, Keeley has received choreography awards in Jazz, Stage, and Tap. She has also created and directed numerous competitive productions that have earned high scores, special awards, and overall recognition. She has a particular passion for Broadway musicals, theatrical storytelling, and helping dancers develop confidence, musicality, and memorable performance quality.
Keeley is proud to be part of the Caulfield School of Dance faculty and enjoys teaching a wide variety of styles and ages. She is especially passionate about mentoring dancers who wish to continue their training while pursuing post-secondary education, helping them recognize that academics and dance can remain equally important parts of their future.

Cori Caulfield - Founder

Cori Caulfield is the founder of Caulfield School of Dance in Port Moody, one of the Tri-Cities’ most respected studios for dance, voice, and theatre arts. Described by The Vancouver Sun as having created “some of the most memorable moments of contemporary dance in Canada,” she has left an enduring legacy as both an artist and an educator.
Cori began teaching in her parents’ basement at the age of twelve and officially established Caulfield School of Dance in 1988. What started as a small program has grown into a vibrant performing arts school that has welcomed thousands of families from Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby, Surrey, and beyond. Her students have gone on to join leading companies including Nederlands Dans Theater, Ballet British Columbia, Miami City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and MOVETHECOMPANY, as well as perform on Broadway, in film, and on major television networks.
As a performer, Cori toured nationally and internationally with her acclaimed solo works, including Portrait Solos at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, and represented dance at the NAC’s BC Scene Festival in 2009. She also spent six years touring worldwide with Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot, performing duets created for her by the Governor General’s Award–winning choreographer. Her performances have been recognized for their precision, artistry, and unforgettable presence.
Cori’s choreography has been featured with Ballet British Columbia, the Goh Ballet Academy, Electric Company Theatre, and Dancestreams Youth Dance Company, among many others. She has presented work at the Chutzpah Festival, Dancing on the Edge, and the International Push Festival, where she premiered her solo BYOM in 2025. With her company, Coriograph Theatre, she earned national recognition, support from the Canada Council for the Arts and BC Arts Council, and the Paul D. Fleck Fellowship in the Arts from the Banff Centre.
In addition to her own performing career, Cori has taught and choreographed for universities and dance organizations across Canada and internationally, including Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Alberta, and the Patravadi Theatre Company in Thailand. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Simon Fraser University and a diploma in Limon Modern Dance Technique from the Limon Institute in New York.
Today, Caulfield School of Dance continues to thrive under new leadership, with Cori’s vision and philosophy remaining central. Her dedication built not just a dance studio, but a community where young people discover discipline, creativity, confidence, and joy through the performing arts.

Rachael Poirier - Jazz, Technique, Jazz Performance, Contemporary Performance, Strength and Conditioning
Few dance educators have had as broad an impact on the British Columbia dance community as Rachael Poirier. For more than three decades, she has shaped generations of dancers through her teaching, choreography, mentorship, and commitment to artistic excellence. Her influence extends far beyond the studio, reaching professional stages, international competitions, and performing arts institutions around the world.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Rachael trained extensively in a wide range of disciplines, studying with respected teachers across Vancouver, Toronto, New York City, and Los Angeles. Her diverse background helped develop the distinctive choreographic voice that would earn her recognition throughout Canada and internationally. Known for creating work that is both technically demanding and emotionally compelling, her choreography has received numerous awards and has been featured in productions ranging from major industry events to large-scale live entertainment productions.
In 1994, Rachael founded Danzmode Productions, which quickly became one of British Columbia’s most recognized training programs. During her years as Artistic Director, she helped guide countless young dancers toward professional careers in dance, theatre, film, and commercial performance. Many of her former students have gone on to perform with internationally acclaimed artists, appear in major television productions, and dance with leading companies across North America and beyond.
Her students have also achieved remarkable success at some of the world’s most prestigious competitions and training programs. Dancers mentored by Rachael have earned top honours at Youth America Grand Prix, Prix de Lausanne, New York City Dance Alliance, and the International Dance Organization World Championships. Others have continued their training at institutions including The Juilliard School, The Ailey School, Jacob’s Pillow, and Point Park University before launching professional careers with organizations such as Ballet BC, Cirque du Soleil, San Francisco Ballet, Alberta Ballet, and BODYTRAFFIC.
Throughout her career, Rachael has remained passionate about developing strong, versatile artists. Her classes combine technical precision, performance quality, athletic conditioning, and artistic expression, encouraging dancers to approach their training with both discipline and curiosity.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Rachael brings a wealth of experience and an extraordinary legacy of mentorship. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence, strengthen their artistry, and discover the full potential of their unique abilities.

Isabel Yuan - Ballet, Pointe, Repertoire & R.A.D. Ballet

Isabel Yuan is an internationally respected ballet teacher and examiner who has been part of Caulfield School of Dance’s faculty for more than twenty years. A specialist in classical Ballet and Pointe training, she brings unparalleled expertise and a deep passion for mentoring young dancers in Port Moody and beyond.
Appointed as a Vocational Examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance in 2005, and later a Dual Examiner in 2011, Isabel is also highly credentialed with the National Ballet School of Canada’s Professional Dancer Teaching Certification, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing certifications, and Cecchetti Associate and Advanced Certificates. Her professional background gives her the ability to prepare students for the highest standards of training, including Royal Academy of Dance examinations.
Before dedicating herself to teaching, Isabel enjoyed a distinguished career as a Principal Dancer with Japan’s Tani Ballet Company for fifteen years, performing leading roles in Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Les Sylphides. She has also appeared as a Guest Artist with the Houston Ballet Company, the National Ballet of Canada, and other world-renowned companies.
After retiring from the stage in 1995, Isabel completed her teacher training at Canada’s National Ballet School and went on to teach both professional and general division students at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She currently holds a full-time faculty position with Vancouver’s Goh Ballet Academy while also serving as a master teacher for companies and schools across Canada, China, and New Zealand.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Isabel has shaped the training of countless graduates who have gone on to successful performing arts careers. Her artistry, discipline, and mentorship continue to elevate the standard of ballet classes in Port Moody, making her an invaluable part of the studio’s legacy.

Hailley Caulfield Postle – Tap, Jazz & Contemporary

Hailley began dancing at the age of three at Caulfield School of Dance, training extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre, and acting under the direction of her sister, Cori Caulfield. Throughout her training, she attended prestigious programs and intensives across Canada and internationally, including studies in England, Italy, Holland, and France. Following graduation, she continued her professional development with the Goh Ballet Academy and Lamondance.
As a competitive dancer, Hailley earned numerous awards, scholarships, provincial titles, and festival honours across multiple disciplines. Her success as a performer led to a diverse professional career spanning stage, film, television, cruise ship productions, music videos, and Contemporary Dance companies.
Hailley's performance credits include the 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies, international teaching and performance engagements in Brazil and Germany, and appearances in feature films, television productions, and music videos. She has performed with companies including Lamondance, MOVE: the company, and Ruckus Dance, while continuing to contribute to Vancouver's vibrant dance community.
In addition to her dance career, Hailley holds Fitness Instructor Specialist certification through Canfit Pro, along with CPR/AED certification and training in Barre Fitness™.
As an instructor, Hailley is known for her energetic classes, challenging choreography, and commitment to helping dancers build both strong technique and confidence. Having grown up at Caulfield School of Dance, she brings a deep connection to the studio and a genuine passion for supporting the next generation of dancers.

Morgan McQueen - R.A.D. Ballet, Tap, Conditioning

Morgan McQueen has spent her life immersed in dance, beginning her training at the age of three and developing a versatile foundation across Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Lyrical. Her broad performance background, combined with more than two decades of teaching experience, allows her to bring both technical expertise and real-world industry knowledge into the studio.
Throughout her performing career, Morgan has appeared in a wide range of professional productions and entertainment settings. Her experience includes work in film, performances aboard Carnival Cruise Lines, and appearances with several high-profile dance teams, including the BC Lions Felions and the Vancouver Giants Jackettes. She has also been an active member of Vancouver’s Hip Hop community as both a performer and choreographer.
A significant milestone in Morgan’s career came in 2005 when she was selected for the Canadian National Tap Team and represented Canada at the World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany. Competing on an international stage, she achieved success in both solo and group divisions, further strengthening her appreciation for the discipline and dedication required in dance training.
While her experience spans many styles, Ballet has remained a constant focus throughout her career. After completing her Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational examinations, Morgan pursued her Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Status and continues to specialize in classical ballet education. Her extensive knowledge of the R.A.D. syllabus, from early childhood levels through advanced training, has helped many students achieve success in examinations, scholarships, and performance opportunities.
In recent years, Morgan has also contributed to productions of The Nutcracker with Ballet Victoria, helping prepare young dancers for performances before enthusiastic audiences. At Caulfield School of Dance, she is passionate about fostering confidence, discipline, and a genuine love of movement while supporting each student’s individual growth as both a dancer and an artist.

Dawn Braun Crawford - Ballet, Pointe, Progressing Ballet Technique®, Conditioning & R.A.D. Ballet

Dawn Braun Crawford has been teaching and choreographing for more than twenty years and is a highly respected member of the Caulfield School of Dance Ballet faculty. A registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Dawn was mentored by the renowned Delores Kirkwood and has prepared students to the highest standards in both Graded and Vocational R.A.D. examinations. She is also fully certified in Progressing Ballet Technique®, bringing a modern, science-informed approach to her teaching.
Dawn’s unique style is shaped by her academic background. She graduated with distinction from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor of Science (Biology major, Psychology minor), pursued postgraduate studies in Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary Dance at Simon Fraser University, and studied Visual Arts at the University of the Fraser Valley. This pairing of dance training with science and visual arts gives her students a foundation that combines technique, artistry, and physiology.
Committed to ongoing learning, Dawn regularly completes professional development through the R.A.D. and studies with physiotherapists on anatomical training, safe stretching, optimal turnout, and injury prevention. She has also trained in the Italian method of Floor Barre in New York, further broadening her expertise.
Beyond teaching, Dawn has worked as a director, producer, and choreographer in multimedia productions, with choreography and video contracts in Canada and Japan. Her choreography has earned numerous awards, and her creative vision extends to costume design, for which she has also been recognized.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Dawn is dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential. Many of her dancers have gone on to professional careers as performers, teachers, and studio owners, a testament to her passion for mentoring and her commitment to excellence in ballet training.

Stewart Iguidez - Hip Hop, Street Styles, Choreography
Stewart is an internationally recognized freestyle dancer, choreographer, and instructor. His eclectic choreography fuses the full spectrum of urban dance — from B-boying, Popping, and Locking to House, New Jack Swing, Tutting, video dance, and stylized Hip Hop. Stewart’s spontaneous creativity, high-energy movement, and signature wit make his classes both inspiring and fun, while his values of integrity, honesty, and kindness set the tone for every student he teaches.
Stewart began as a b-boy in the mid-1990s before expanding into Hip Hop choreography. Over the years he has competed and performed across North America, earning recognition in battles such as Rock Da House, Monsters of Hip Hop, and Battle Zone. With his crew The Faculty, Stewart has won top titles at World of Dance Seattle and Vancouver, as well as Bodyrock San Diego and Artists Emerge Upper Division.
His performance career spans collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists including DJ Tiesto, The Roots, The Dogg Pound, Grandmaster Flash, Mos Def, the Black Eyed Peas, Michael Bublé, Naughty By Nature, and Nelly Furtado. He was also a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance Canada and has appeared in feature films and television shows such as Once Upon A Time, Hellcats, Rags, and Another Cinderella Story. More recently, Stewart has worked as an actor in Freeform’s The Deep, CBS’s Zoo, and numerous national commercials.
As a teacher at Caulfield, Stewart brings the latest trends in Hip Hop and urban movement to students in Port Moody. His classes are energetic, challenging, and rooted in the belief that dance is about more than steps — it’s about body awareness, musicality, and growth. Stewart creates an environment where dancers of all levels feel encouraged to take risks, build confidence, and develop their own unique style.

Kelly Douglas - Private Coaching & R.A.D. Solo Seal Training

Kelly Douglas is a Vancouver-trained dancer and teacher who brings over two decades of professional experience to Caulfield School of Dance. She studied at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The Banff School of Fine Arts, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, training under acclaimed instructors including Laura Alonso, David Earl, Lynn Seymour, and David Wall.
As a performer with Alberta Ballet Company, Kelly danced in celebrated productions such as The Nutcracker, Firebird, Serenade, Facade, Allegro Brillante, Coppélia, and Cinderella. In 1990, she received her Royal Academy of Dance teaching diploma and was elected an Associate of the Academy, fully qualifying her to teach the R.A.D. syllabus and enter students into all levels of Academy examinations. She is also a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and currently serves as a Practical Teaching Supervisor for the R.A.D.
In addition to her professional training and teaching, Kelly has choreographed and performed in independent projects including Vancouver’s 12 Minute Max, Dancing on the Edge, and the Sunshine Coast’s Annual Celebration of Dance. She also served as a guest teacher at Ballet by the Sea Studio in Malibu, California, for seven years.
In 2012, Kelly was one of only four teachers across North and South America selected to train as an examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance. After completing training in London, England in 2013, she was appointed to the International Panel of Examiners, making her one of just fourteen examiners in Canada.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Kelly shares her deep knowledge of ballet and contemporary dance with students of all levels, guiding them with artistry, technical precision, and a passion for helping dancers reach their fullest potential.

Cierra Munro - R.A.D. Ballet & Private Coaching
Cierra Munro began her Ballet training at just three years old in her hometown of Port Moody before pursuing professional studies at Vancouver’s renowned Goh Ballet Academy. Under the mentorship of Fiona Smith, Yao Ping Zhu, and Chan Hon Goh, she completed the Goh Ballet pre-professional program and advanced into the Goh Ballet Youth Company. Cierra achieved Distinction in all of her Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Examinations from Intermediate to Advanced II, and in 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Solo Seal Award under the guidance of Isabel Yuan and Lynette Kelly.
As a student, Cierra earned recognition both locally and internationally. She was a finalist at competitions in South Korea, Vienna, Germany, and China, earning a medal at the Vienna International Ballet Experience and at the Global Dance Challenge in 2017. Twice named Provincial Representative for the Surrey Festival of Dance, she also received support from the BC Arts Council in 2014, 2016, and 2017. Her career has taken her around the world, performing and choreographing at prestigious events including the 60th Anniversary Gala of the Beijing Dance Academy, the Meet in Beijing Arts Festival, and a collaboration with the Guangdong Modern Dance Company for the Vancouver International Dance Festival.
After graduating, Cierra was selected for the Jacob’s Pillow Ballet Program in 2017, where she trained under Anna Marie Holmes and performed in a world premiere choreographed by Bruce Wells for the festival’s 80th anniversary. She later joined Oregon Ballet Theatre as a member of OBT2, performing in works such as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, Septime Webre’s ALICE (in Wonderland), and Nacho Duato’s Rassemblement.
Now returning to her roots, Cierra is excited to share her knowledge, artistry, and passion with the next generation of dancers at Caulfield School of Dance, inspiring young performers with her professional experience and love of ballet.

Sarah Brewer Clowes - Senior Ballet & Private Coaching
Sarah Brewer Clowes is an accomplished dance educator, performer, choreographer, and adjudicator whose career has spanned more than four decades. Recognized for her depth of knowledge, thoughtful teaching approach, and commitment to dancer wellness, she has become a respected figure within the Canadian dance community.
Sarah’s professional performing career began with the Munich Ballet in Germany and continued with organizations including Northwest Florida Ballet, Banff Festival Ballet, and Vancouver Opera. Throughout her independent performing career, she collaborated with many influential artists and choreographers, including Crystal Pite, David Earle, Wen Wei Wang, Cori Caulfield, Amber Funk Barton, Sylvain Senez, and Gioconda Barbuto. These experiences shaped her distinctive artistic perspective and continue to inform her work as both an educator and choreographer.
Alongside her performance career, Sarah has created choreography for dancers at a wide range of levels, from emerging artists to seasoned professionals. She has also served as an adjudicator for dance festivals across Western Canada, including multiple British Columbia Provincial Festivals, where her insight and mentorship have supported countless young dancers in their development.
As a teacher, Sarah is known for her ability to connect technical training with a deeper understanding of movement. Her classes emphasize anatomical awareness, injury prevention, artistic individuality, and sustainable dance practices. She is particularly passionate about helping dancers develop the tools needed to support both their physical health and long-term growth as artists.
Beyond the studio, Sarah has developed workshops focused on anatomy, injury prevention, and dancer wellness, sharing her expertise with students, teachers, and performing artists throughout the dance community. She is also the creator and host of Sarah’s Space, a podcast that explores topics ranging from the arts and personal growth to contemporary social issues.d

Kylah Powell - Contemporary, Modern
Kylah Powell is a Vancouver-based dance artist, educator, choreographer, and filmmaker whose career spans over three decades. Known for her thoughtful approach to movement and storytelling, she brings a rich blend of performance, choreography, and artistic exploration to her work with dancers of all ages.
Kylah earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Modern Dance from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where she trained under respected educators including Leni Wylliams, Mary Pat Henry, and Paula Webber. She further expanded her studies as a scholarship student at the renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Center in New York City.
Throughout her career, Kylah has taught extensively across the Lower Mainland, earning recognition for choreography that has received numerous awards and distinctions. Her work has been presented at festivals and performance events throughout British Columbia, including the BC Festival of Arts and Dance in Vancouver Festival. In 2010, she performed as part of the Vancouver Olympic Opening Ceremonies, an experience that remains one of the highlights of her performing career.
Before pursuing dance professionally, Kylah competed as a national-level gymnast, representing her sport at competitions across Canada and internationally. The athleticism, discipline, and creativity developed through gymnastics later informed her work teaching and choreographing Circus Arts, opening another avenue for artistic expression and performance.
Over the years, Kylah has collaborated with a wide range of choreographers and artists, including Claire French, Sarah Coffin, Heather Laura Gray, Alina Sotskova, and Jennifer Aoki. In 2005, she founded CollabArt Creations, a contemporary dance company dedicated to bringing together artists from different disciplines through collaborative performance projects. Through this work, she has produced and choreographed numerous full-length productions featuring dancers, filmmakers, photographers, visual artists, and creative collaborators from across the region.
In recent years, Kylah has expanded her artistic practice into dance film. Her short films have screened at festivals throughout North America and internationally, including Vancouver’s Dancing on the Edge Festival. Her award-winning film Just a Swipe received recognition at multiple film festivals, while Filtered Futures was featured as part of Garet & Co.’s Dance Film Festival in Connecticut. She has also received support from The Dance Centre for her film work and continues to develop new projects that explore movement through a cinematic lens.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Kylah is passionate about helping students discover their artistic voice while building strong technical foundations. Her classes encourage curiousity, creativity, and confidence, inspiring dancers to connect deeply with both movement and self-expression.

Lexy Cox - Acrobatics & Tumbling

Lexy Cox is a versatile performer, choreographer, and instructor who brings a wealth of professional experience to Caulfield School of Dance. A graduate of Ryerson University’s BFA program in Theatre Performance and Dance, she also holds certifications with the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association, Performing Arts Educators of Canada, Acro Dance Teachers Association, Acrobatic Arts Canada, and Alixa Flexibility. Lexy is a qualified adjudicator with the Professional Adjudicators Alliance and a proud member of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance.
As a choreographer, Lexy has created works across Canada and the United States. Her credits include World Performers Canada National Dance Team (Spain and Portugal), Mini PopKids, Mirvish’s Matilda (Travelling Stage Artist Educator), Shrek The Musical (Rainbow Stage), Toronto Dance Teacher Expo, One Night Only Musical (Dora Award Winner – Now Audience Choice), Port Hope Capitol Theatre Company, Theatre Arts Centre NYC, City Dance Corps, CNE Rising Star Talent Competition, Illuminite Toronto, Bravo Academy, and the Google Learning Mini Series.
Her performance highlights include Bound For Broadway (NYC Theatre Arts Center), A Chorus Line (Rose Theatre), Cory Lee’s Cruel Intentions music video, ET Canada, Much Music’s Best Dance Crew commercial, High School Musical 2 Live on Stage (Jonathan Randall Productions), Peter Pan (Royal City Musical Theatre, Vancouver), Velma Kelly in Chicago (Treehouse Theatre), and Bombalurina in Cats (Stanley Theatre, Vancouver).
In addition to her teaching at Caulfield School of Dance, Lexy serves as the Artistic Director of Full Out Dance, manages Dance Attack Acro Convention, directs Move With The Beat Dance & Acro Competitions, and is the Certifications Director for the Acro Dance Teachers Association’s teacher training programs. She continues to adjudicate and guest teach across Canada, inspiring the next generation of dancers with her creativity, versatility, and professional insight.

Madison Simms - Junior Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical & Musical Theatre
Born in Victoria and raised in the Lower Mainland, Madison Simms is a performer, choreographer, and arts educator whose career has taken her from local stages to audiences around the world. A graduate of Caulfield School of Dance, she continued her training through Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts and later earned a certificate in Acting from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England.
As a professional performer, Madison has built an impressive career as a singer, dancer, and actor. She has performed internationally with Disney Cruise Line and Shanghai Disney Resort, bringing beloved stories and characters to life for audiences from around the globe. Closer to home, she has appeared in productions with respected theatre companies including Align Entertainment, Raincity Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, and Royal City Musical Theatre.
Madison’s passion for performance is matched by her love of teaching. She works with students across dance studios, schools, and community programs throughout the Lower Mainland, helping young performers develop confidence, creativity, and strong technical skills. Her experience across multiple disciplines allows her to support dancers and performers in finding their own unique artistic voice.
A dedicated mentor and choreographer, Madison has contributed extensively to youth performing arts programs, including Gleneagle Secondary School’s Performing Arts program. She is passionate about creating positive learning environments where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to grow.
As a former Caulfield School of Dance student herself, Madison is proud to return as a member of the faculty and to share her professional experience with the next generation of dancers and performers.

Abby Metcalfe - Acro, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Stage & Lyrical
Abby Metcalfe is a versatile dancer and educator whose training spans a wide range of styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro, Contemporary, and Ballet. She began dancing at the age of six and grew up as a competitive dancer, developing a strong technical foundation while earning numerous awards and scholarships throughout her training.
Alongside her studio education, Abby completed Royal Academy of Dance Ballet examinations through the Advanced 1 level and demonstrated a natural passion for leadership and choreography during her high school years. Her commitment to both performance and artistic growth led to recognition for her choreography and achievements as a dancer.
Abby has continued to expand her training through professional programs and industry experiences across North America. She has studied in Los Angeles at renowned studios including Millennium Dance Complex and The Edge, while also completing Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program under the direction of Moe Brody. These opportunities allowed her to work closely with leading choreographers and performers while gaining valuable insight into the professional dance industry.
Today, Abby remains active in Vancouver’s commercial dance community through advanced training and performance opportunities, including her involvement with Platform on Camera’s The Collective. Her experience in dance film and live performance continues to inform her teaching, bringing current industry knowledge and fresh creative perspectives into the classroom.
At Caulfield School of Dance, Abby is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, versatility, and a strong work ethic. She strives to create an encouraging environment where students feel motivated to challenge themselves, develop their artistry, and enjoy the process of learning through movement.
