CSD instructor Amber Funk Barton and CSD Alumna Heather Dotto share a program with Ballet Kelowna’s Artistic Director Simone Orlando this weekend at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
For Spring, Ballet Kelowna draws inspiration from Igor Stravinsky, one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. The program features the world premieres of three re-imagined classics – The Firebird, Petrushka, and The Rite of Spring. These iconic works will re-surface through the voices of today’s top BC-based choreographers – Amber Funk Barton, Heather Dotto, and Simone Orlando. The Spring program promises to be the dance event of the season.
