Jared Khalifa will be teaching Acro for Week 1 of the Caulfield School of Dance Multidiscipline Summer Intensives, August 19 to August 23.
The 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, Intensive week is for three levels:
Junior, Ages 7+ (Suggested 1 – 3 years experience):
Intermediate, Ages 9+ (Suggested 3+ years experience):
Advanced, Ages 12+ (Intermediate or higher R.A.D. Ballet level and/or Advanced Tap).

Jared Khalifa instructs Acrobatic Arts at Caulfield School of Dance as a member of the Tyler Ayres Dance and Aerial team. Jared is a kind and supportive teacher with an impressive resume of experience teaching, choreographing, and performing. With a real desire to help students develop their acrobatic and dance skills so they can use both together for ultimate self-expression, he also loves sharing his knowledge of dance in the film and television industry.
The Caulfield School of Dance Half Day program dancers will benefit from Jared’s On Camera workshop on September 26, 2019.
Jared is a multidisciplinary performing artist, athlete, and teacher, born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Jared’s teaching endeavours have taken him across Canada and to Europe, working with conventions, companies, and clients including “So You Think You Can Dance”, “World of Dance”, Cirque du Soleil, and Tyler Ayres Dance and Aerial.
Jared believes in training the mind and body in tandem in order to reach one’s full potential as a dancer. He is currently a B.A. Performance Psychology major at the University of British Columbia, undertaking Corrective Exercise and Injury Prevention Certifications, and holds an international certification in Personal Fitness Training.
As a Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnast, Jared has trained across Canada, the United States, and in England, and France. He has represented Canada at three World Age Group Championships, earning two World Cup Silver medals, twelve National Championship medals and three Canadian titles. Jared then trained with Cirque Du Soleil in Montreal and became a member of the original recreation of “OVO”. After touring the North America with Cirque Du Soleil, Jared returned to Vancouver, to work in the film and television industry as a dancer. Select credits include: “Sabrina” (Netflix), “Motherland” (Freeform), “A Cinderella Christmas” (Warner Bros), and “Descendants 3” (Disney).
We are very excited to have Jared instructing Acrobatics in the Summer Multidiscipline Intensive Week 1, in the coming September to June year, and look forward to hosting his On Camera workshop on September 26.

The 2019 Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Weeks are:
Weeks A and B; for Grade III – V RAD (or equivalent/with instructor approval) dancers:
Week A: Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Week B: Monday, August 12 to Friday August 16, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Weeks C and D; for Intermediate and Advanced (Intermediate Foundation RAD and above) or equivalent levels:
Week C: Monday, August 12 to Friday August 16, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Week D: Monday, August 19 to Friday August 23, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
The Multidiscipline Summer Intensive Weeks are for three levels:
