Shauna Smith will be teaching Hip Hop as one of the Guest Instructors for Week 2 (August 28 to Sept 1) of the 2017 Caulfield School of Dance Multidiscipline Summer Intensives.

Shauna has taught at some of the top studios in the world including Harbour Dance Centre, Pineapple Studios, Danceworks, and Studio 68 London. With a teaching resume that spans the globe including, London, Portugal, South Africa, Mexico, Las Vegas, Vancouver and various cities across Canada, she has been able to hone her teaching and choreography skills for any type of class or environment.
As a director of Harbour Dance Centre’s “KTLco”, Shauna is a strong role model for an emerging generation of Canadian dancers. Having worked with many of the top teachers and choreographers internationally, she brings a broad spectrum of training and knowledge to everything she does. With a style that is varied and always interesting, Shauna aims to challenge and inspire her students, while imparting a sense of style and confidence at the same time.
Recent credits include: Dancer for Canadian Artist Sonreal for the “Can I Get a Witness” music video; Choreographer for David Morin “Come Home” music video and Eliza Smith’s “Payback” music video. Shauna was also part of the choreography team for 2016 We Day event at Rogers Arena. As one of the most sought after female dancer/choreographers in Vancouver, Shauna brings a sense of passion and love to everything she works on.
Featuring Guest Faculty and Caulfield School of Dance teachers, the Caulfield School of Dance Summer Intensive weeks are an invaluable experience. Even one full week produces amazing improvement. The Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Weeks are August 7 to 25; the Multidiscipline Weeks are August 21 to September 1. All students age 7 and up with some experience (minimum 1 year recommended) will benefit immensely from Multidiscipline Summer Intensive training. For those pursuing Performance Training Company Programs, or Professional Training Division courses, participation in 2 weeks of Summer Intensive training is especially recommended and up to 2 weeks of Summer Intensive Tuition fees are included in 2017-2018 Company and Division program tuition at the Special Fee Ceiling.
