Since the summer of 1993, the UBC Summer Music Institute has been a haven where young musicians can spend part of the summer on the beautiful UBC campus focusing on intensely and creatively furthering their talent.
The UBC Summer Vocal Workshop grew into its own program from the Summer Music Institute in 2013, and has since become one of the largest summer programs in the country. Singers have the opportunity to interact with UBC School of Music Faculty, as well as professional classical musicians from all over the world.
Singers of all levels of vocal training are invited to join the Voice and Opera Faculty for the UBC Vocal Workshop. It is a wonderful opportunity to work in classes and individually with teachers and professionals to develop better vocal focus, health, technique, and performance abilities.
