
Acro Coordinator for Dance Attack, Lexy Cox, instructs Acrobatic Arts in the 2019 Caulfield School of Dance Summer Intensives
Lexy Cox will be teaching the Acrobatic Arts in Multidiscipline Intensive Week 2, August 26 to 30, at Caulfield School of Dance.

Lexy Cox BFA, CDTA, PAEC, AAC, AF, PAA
Lexy is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. She also has accreditation with Alixa Flexibility, the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association, and Performing Arts Educators of Canada. She is a graduate of Ryerson University’s BFA program, majoring in Theatre Performance and Dance. Lexy is also a qualified dance adjudicator with the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.
Lexy is a diverse performer, choreographer and instructor specializing in a variety of dance styles. She has worked across Canada and the US as a choegrapher on projects such as Mini Pop Kids, Mirvish’s “Matilda” (Travelling Stage Artist Educator), Mirvish Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, “Shrek The Musical” (Rainbow Stage), Dance Attack, “One Night Only Musical” (Dora Award Winner: Now Audience Choice), Port Hope Capitol Theatre Company, New York City’s Theatre Arts Centre, City Dance Corps, CNE Rising Star Talent Competition, Illuminite Toronto, Bravo Academy, The Players Company, and Google Learning Mini Series. Her performance credits include; “Bound For Broadway” (NYC Theatre Arts Center), “A Chorus Line” (Rose Theatre), Cory Lee’s “Cruel Intentions” Music Video, ET Canada, Much Music’s Best Dance Crew Commercial (New Music Live), “Madonna Bazaar” (Opera House), High School Musical 2live on Stage (Jonathan Randall Productions), “Peter Pan” (Royal City Musical Theatre, Vancouver), Velma Kelly in “Chicago” (Treehouse Theatre), and Bombalurina in “Cats” (Stanley Theatre Vancouver).
Currently Lexy is the Artistic Director of Full Out Dance, the Acro Coordinator for Dance Attack Acro Workshops, Coordinating World Performers Canada National Dance Team, working in association with Acrobatique, and adjudicating competitions/guest teaching for dance companies across Canada.

The 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, Multidiscipline Intensive Weeks are for three levels:
Junior, Ages 7+ (Suggested 1 – 3 years experience):
Intermediate, Ages 9+ (Suggested 3+ years experience):
Advanced, Ages 12+ (Intermediate or higher R.A.D. Ballet level and/or Advanced Tap).

The Multidiscipline Summer Intensive Weeks are:
Week 1: Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Week 2: Monday, August 26 to Friday, August 30, 2019 – 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
The remaining 2019 Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Weeks are:
Week B: for Grade III – V RAD (or equivalent/with instructor approval) dancers.
Monday to Friday, August 12 to 16, 2019 – 10:30 am to 2:30 pm
Week C and Week D: for Intermediate and Advanced (Intermediate Foundation RAD and above) dancers.
Monday to Friday, August 12 to 16, 2019 – 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Week C)
Monday to Friday, August 19 to 23, 2019 – 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Week D)
All Intensive Weeks (Ballet/Contemporary and Multidisciplinary) are:
- $280.00 +gst each
- Any 2 Weeks for $540.00 +gst
- Any 3 Weeks for $780.00 +gst
- Any 4 Weeks for $1000.00 +gst
