Equal Payments: All fees are based on 28 weeks and pro-rated for 10 payments

Family Discount: Each additional sibling with the lesser hours receives a 20% discount. This does not apply to private sessions.
A $75 media fee is charged at registration for the year-end recital.
All fees include 5% Federal Sales Tax.

Fees due at registration include a $42 registration fee and $75 media fee. First and last instalments are due September 1st 2023.
Refund and Course Drop/Change Policy:
Students are required to make a full year’s commitment as all programs are progressive. If for any reason a student discontinues a course or courses before the end of the year term, it is understood and agreed that the parent/guardian will give the School one month’s written notice by email; failure to attend classes does not constitute withdrawal; non-refundable fees and deposits are not refundable; any unpaid fees (e.g. costume fees) must also be paid.
Any course changes require 30 days written notice.
No fees refunded after March 15, 2025.
Last instalment (a minimum of a 10th of the full year’s tuition) is due with the first instalment and forfeited upon withdrawal.
Payment Policies:
An NSF fee of $25 will be applied to all accounts with insufficient funds or declined payment.
A late fee of 10% (up to $25.00) on outstanding fees/tuition not paid by 15 days of the date due will be applied to the families account.
Fee Ceilings:
$8500.00 per student.
Note: Closed Invitation Programs have their own further reduced Fee Ceilings.
Only Regular Group Courses are included Fee Ceilings. The courses taken by a student/s at fee ceiling do not count towards the Multiple Course Discount for other members of their family.
Scholarships are applicable to fee ceilings.

Financial Assistance:
The Caulfield School of Dance Scholarship Fund, which is entirely supported by parent fundraising and private donations, offers publicly announced scholarships to recognize student achievement. The Fund also provides some support to the Financial Assistance the School gives to families who need tuition reduction.
Scholarships are applicable to regular September to June Group Courses only; scholarships are NOT applicable to private instruction, etc. but are applicable to fee ceilings.
To apply for Financial Assistance for a child age 18 or under, please supply:
1) a letter of request indicating:
- your budget for performing arts training at Caulfield School of Dance.
- your desired Caulfield School of Dance performing arts training program and its cost.
- a list of all other activities the child and their siblings will participate in, outside of regular school, and their costs.
- a copy of the most recent tax return for every adult who may have legal responsibility for the minor.
Please be assured that any identifying information on your personal financial information is immediately redacted upon receipt.
All fees are subject to 5% Federal Sales Tax
We are required to charge the federal Goods and Services Tax on tuition fees, etc. We do not believe that activities which improve fitness and may lead to employment should be taxed. If you agree, please let your federal political representation know your opinion on this subject. Thank you.
