ATTENTION ASPIRING PERFORMERS:
The First Annual Broadway Intensive & Industry Showcase is for students aged 9 years and up who are serious about developing their “triple threat” skills (the ultimate combination of acting, singing and dancing) culminating in an “industry night” performance for local agents, directors, composers, choreographers, producers and other theatrical impresarios.
The Audition:
Sunday, January 25, 2015, 1:30pm to 3pm
At: Caulfield School of Dance
Fee: $25 (which will be deducted from the workshop tuition upon acceptance).

Students should be warmed up and ready to DANCE in appropriate dancewear and shoes. Dress to impress! Please be prepared with:
- a photo and a resume (if you have one). If you do not have a resume, there will be a registration sheet for you to fill out and hand in along with your photo.
- a verse and a chorus of a song that showcases character, vocal and acting skills. Performance quality, technique and the ability to learn choreography at a fast pace will all be taken into consideration
Upon signing in, students will be given a number which must be worn at all times during the audition.
All students will be given valuable written feedback on their auditions.
Please note: Students are welcome to participate in the audition even if they opt out of the workshop.
The Workshop:
4 Sundays: 1-25-15 (the day of the audition), 2-1-15, 2-8-15 & 2-15-15 from 5:30-7:30 pm.
At: Caulfield School of Dance
Tuition: $150
Students are expected to learn music and choreography at a very fast pace and will be treated like professionals.
The Show:
Sunday, February 22nd at 1pm
At: the Havana Theatre on Commercial Drive
Students will be cast by age and ability in at least one number to be performed at the showcase. Opportunities to perform solos are available and encouraged once accepted into the program.
