The WEST COAST TAP DANCE COLLECTIVE presents a workshop with AARON TOLSON.
Aaron, a professional tap dancer, is also a producer,director, choreographer and performer. One of his career highlights include, accepting a role in the national and international tours of Riverdance. He was a featured soloist and captain of the tap dancers for six years as he performed on Broadway and at Radio City Music Hall, on various TV shows, at NBA games, and on stages the world over.
In 2006 Aaron began working with longtime friend Derick Grant on Imagine Tap!, a Chicago-based show whose formation would become the subject of a feature-length documentary, titled Tap or Die Aaron is currently on faculty with Broadway Dance Center in New York City and is the director of Tap2You, a traveling workshop series. In addition, he is the national spokesperson for SoDanca, and the Director of Speaking In Taps, a pre-professional dance company. Aaron will also be performing in our Tap Day Celebration Show, “Go Into Your Dance”.

An exciting tribute to Canadian tap dancer and movie star, Ruby Keeler at the Massey Theatre on May 24th at 7 p.m. With MC Teryl Rothery; guest artists Alexandra Clancy, Peggy Giesbrecht, Jim Hibbard, Lindsay Sterk, Jennifer Bishop, Julie Tomaino, Keri Minty; featured guest artist Aaron Tolson and a host of talented dancers from all over the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island this will be a great show.
