Caulfield School of Dance is very excited that four of the dancers from our senior tap group have been selected by audition to represent Canada at the World Tap Dance Championships.
As reported by the TriCity News (page A13 July 1, 2015), Rebekah Gill, age 14, Jaelan Mills, age 16, and Tiana Pazdirek, age 17, were selected for the Adult Tap Team Canada Dance 2015; and Kirsten Volberg, age 13, was selected for the Junior Team.
All four dancers train in multiple disciplines at Caulfield School of Dance and do their tap training under Hailley Caulfield Postle. All were awarded Travel Scholarship from the Caulfield School of Dance Scholarship Fund to support their efforts for Canada’s teams.
Both Teams will rehearse weekends through July to November and then head off for Reisa, Germany this December to compete against teams from at least 22 other countries at the World Tap Dance Championships 2015.
Congratulations Kirsten, Tiana, Jaelan, and Rebekah! We are very proud of you!
