Caulfield School of Dance classmates Nathalie Brown and Shanna Lilley have just returned from the School of Alberta Ballet’s Junior Professional Division Summer Program. The 12 year olds were accepted from international auditions and it was the first opportunity for both girls to study intensively away from home. Nathalie had “a ball” training every day in the summer intensive and Shanna found her classes at S.A.B. “fun and challenging”.

Of course they will both attend Caulfield School of Dance Summer Intensive Weeks too. This is the ideal way for young dancers to spend the summer – dancing!

Shanna hits the deck for some practice in the Alberta sun.
To dance professionally, a student must do vocational training in childhood and adolescence. It cannot wait until graduation from high school. That is why Summer training is so very important.
