Caulfield Students Sharing in the Community

Caulfield School of Dance students had a very busy weekend performing in several events in the community.

Abriel, Nyla, Kaia, Carter, Shanna, Lorena, Holly, Mena, and Elena performed as part of “CANADA 150: THE SHOW” September 26 to October 1, 2017, at Evergreen Cultural Centre.

Aaliyah, Victoria, Lincoln, Taia, Aerin, Alexis, Chiara, and Rebekah, who also MC’ed, after their Henderson Place Mall show

On Saturday, September 30, Caulfield School of Dance students performed at Henderson Place Mall for their Mid-Autumn Festival.

And on Sunday, October 1, Caulfield School of Dance Half Day Program student Sabina Nelson, performed her interpretive solo choreographed by Jocelyn Wozencroft at the Vancouver Ballet Society’s Scholarship Showcase fundraiser at the Scotiabank Dance Centre. Sabina, age 12, was the Intermediate level Top Scholarship Winner from the 2017 V.B.S. Spring Seminar. Ballet BC Artistic Director Emily Monlar complimented Sabina’s solo from the stage! (We hope to see many C.S.D. students audition to participate in the Seminar this spring.)

The ‘Silent Screen Starlets’ entertained at the Mary Kay charity event on Sunday October 1, 2017

Also on Sunday, Caulfield School of Dance students provided the entertainment for an uplifting Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation event at Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club in Coquitlam in support of Joy’s Place, a Port Coquitlam organization that helps local women and children affected by violence.
