World Ballet Day 2017 on Facebook Live on Tuesday, October 5, 2017:
Get a glimpse behind the scenes at five of the world’s leading dance companies.

The Australian Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, The Royal Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada and San Francisco Ballet will partner for the fourth year in a row to celebrate classical dance and provide viewers around the world with an exclusive look behind the scenes at what life is like at the world’s top ballet companies.
The celebrations will centre around a 22-hour long Facebook Live, which will pass from company-to-company as the day progresses.
A running order will be announced nearer the time, but expect glimpses into morning class, rehearsals for upcoming performances, and backstage preparations.
If you can’t wait until Thursday, you can watch C.S.D. alumnus Ben Freemantle in rehearsal for the solo being created on him by international sensation Trey McIntyre for San Fransisco Ballet’s upcoming Unbound festival of new works.
