We are so grateful to have your support!
The nominations – a record 957 – for Port Moody’s 2017 Spike Business Awards, were received for a select 132 local businesses in eight categories: Arts in Business, Business Spirit, Customer Service, Environmental Leadership, Home-Based Business, Street Appeal, Technology and Innovation, and Tourist Destination.
Caulfield School of Dance Principal attended the Spike Award gala held at City Hall Thursday, October 19, and said “Congratulations to all the nominees and winners for 2017! My faculty and staff and I are dedicated to serving our students, their families, and our community, and it is an honour to be recognized.”
The Spike Business Awards celebrate the contribution of local businesses to the community, and are presented each year during Small Business Week in Canada. The City of Port Moody’s Economic Development Committee selects the winners, based on nominations received from the public.
Caulfield also attended the Tri-City News reception for winners of the A-List, held at Thursday, October 26 the Molson Theatre in Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. Favourite businesses, services, community organizations and even politicians, as voted by readers, were each presented with a certificate for every category they won. We’ll post the two we received at the school soon!
Thank you again so much for voting for Caulfield School of Dance!
