For quick reference, you can download and print a 1 page hard copy of a sheet listing only the dates, without details:

PARENT VIEWING

Last 10-15 minutes of:

  • The first class of each course.
  • All classes Monday to Sunday, December 10 to 16, 2018.
  • All classes Saturday to Friday, March 9 to 15, 2019.

CLOSED:

  • Hallowe’en, Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
  • All Statutory Holidays and the Saturdays and Sundays of all Long Weekends.
  • WINTER BREAK: Sunday, December 23, 2018 to Saturday, January 5, 2019 inclusive.
  • SPRING BREAK: Monday, March 18, 2019 to Sunday, March 31, 2019 inclusive.

OTHER IMPORTANT DATES IN DATE ORDER:

STAGE MAKEUP & HAIR SEMINARS

All NEW performers MUST attend at least one of the below seminar times; all others are welcome.  Please bring at least one makeup liner pencil and all hair supplies and the person preparing each performer for performing:

  • TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2018 – 6:30 to 7:15 pm
  • FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2018 – 4:45 to 5:30 pm
  • SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2018 – 10:30 – 11:15 am

CHRISTMAS PARTY AND FUND RAISER

Date: Saturday, December 1, 2018

Time:  1:00 to 5:00 pm

Location:  Summit Middle School, 1450 Parkway Blvd, Coquitlam, BC V3E 3L2.

Please bring your family and friends for a fun afternoon with our Raffle Draw, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Concession for yummy food and drinks, and of course, wonderful entertainment*. Get a jump on your Christmas baking and shopping!

Admission is by donation.

PHOTO SHOOT & COSTUME CHECKS

Parents must be present to take notes at the specific call times that their children’s numbers are given on any of the below dates:

  • SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2019 –  2:00 – 6:00pm
  • SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2019 – 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • SATURDAY, APRIL 27, 2019 – 2:00 – 6:00pm

PLACEMENT AUDITIONS

For information on whether or not your child should do a placement audition, please see the information on Auditioning.

Age 6 to 12:
Saturday, May 11, 12:30 – 2pm

Ages 13 +:
Friday, May 10, 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Note: All students must preregister including paying the $35.00+ GST  fee (which is included* in Company/Professional Training Division program tuition, as are some fess for participation in Summer Intensive Training Weeks, and the September Company/Professional Division Workshop).

YEAREND SHOW TICKETS SALES

Tickets for the five yearend performances, go on sale online on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 8:45 am

Remaining tickets will be available from Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 8:45 am. Ticket receipts can be redeemed for printed tickets (required for entry) during our office hours.

YEAREND SHOW IN-STUDIO DRESS REHEARSALS

AT CAULFIELD SCHOOL:

Monday, May 20, to Sunday, May 26, 2019:
There will be mandatory Dress Rehearsals in the CSD studios on these days that may fall outside of your regular class time(s).

Saturday, May 25, 2019:
In Studio Dress Rehearsals (that may fall outside of your regular class time) including a NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION MEETING and/or Finale rehearsal which ALL NEW PARENTS MUST ATTEND

DRESS REHEARSALS are in FULL COSTUME, HAIR and MAKEUP:

The studio Finale Rehearsal/NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION MEETING is for all performers and Specified PARENTS (including those who are NEW to the School).

“Specified Numbers” = each performance piece participating will be given a specific call time within the time block.

“Finale” is the last (final) number in each show; all performers from that show perform it. Specified numbers for each Finale Rehearsal are informed at least 1 week prior. ALL PERFORMERS and ALL New Parents and any Parents who have not previously attended a Finale Rehearsal MUST attend the first Finale Rehearsal/NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION MEETING at C.S.D., Saturday, May 25, 2019 – 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

ON STAGE Finale Rehearsals are mandatory for EVERY PERFORMER of EVERY NUMBER called for that rehearsal.

LAST DAY OF CLASSES:

Monday, June 17, 2019.

Note: Families can make one minimum payment of $2000.00 per student by Monday, June 17, 2019 at 7:00pm from which any Company/Professional Training Division/Regular Tuition costs incurred from June 17, 2019 to September 30, 2019 will be deducted, and the annual Registration Fee for that student will be waived. Any credit remaining will be applied to subsequent payments.

REGISTRATION 

Registration for September 2019 to June 2020 Courses and Summer 2019 Classes and Programs:           

  • Tuesday to Friday, June 11 to 14, 2019 – 4:00 – 7:00pm
  • Saturday, June 15, 2019 – 10:00am – 12:30pm
  • Sunday June 16, 2019 – 10:00am – 12:30pm
  • Monday, June 17, 2019 – 4:00 – 7:00pm  

Note: Families can make a minimum payment of $2000.00 per returning student by Monday, June 17, 2019 at 7:00pm from which Regular Tuition costs will be deducted, and the registration fee for that student will be waived. Any credit remaining will be applied to subsequent payments.

First Day of Regular classes for the 2019-2020 year is Saturday, September 7, 2019.
