Amazing Four Days at Festival du Ballet!

Congratulations to all of our dancers who graced the stage of the Surrey Arts Centre from Sunday, May 12 to Wednesday, May 15 at Festival du Ballet.

Special congratulations to “Point(e) Made”, the Caulfield School of Dance’s Half Day Classical Ballet Piece choreographed by Jocelyn Wozencroft, which placed 4th overall in the Advanced/Accelerated division of the Rose Gala Finals after being the Top Scoring Accelerated Group!

This piece is also invited to the Peak Honours Performance, Tuesday, May 28, at the Molson Canadian Theatre in Coquitlam.

The other two Half Day pieces also placed in the Top 10 for Accelerated Groups:  “Under the Moonlight” choreography by Cori Caulfield, was the 5th Highest Scoring Accelerated Group and “Ghost Lights”, choreography by Amber Funk Barton, was the 7th Highest Scoring Accelerated Group.

Cori Caulfield also received a choreography award for “Under the Moonlight”.

Three of our soloists also had Top 10 Scoring Accelerated Level Solos:
Caitlyn Woo, Contemporary Ballet Solo was 5th and her Interpretive Solo was the 9th Highest Scoring Accelerated Solo, both choreographed by Jocelyn Wozencroft.
Robynn Danielski Contemporary Ballet piece, choreographed by Cori Caulfield was the 7th Highest Scoring Accelerated Solo.
Carter Hayes, Contemporary Ballet, choreography by Cori Caulfield was the 8th Highest Scoring Accelerated Solo.

And Aerin Chow received a spirit award from Festival du Ballet.
