Chilliwack Festival continues with the Jazz and Lyrical Section.
All of our competitors are continuing to have amazing runs! Congratulations to everyone who hit the stage!
In the Jazz and Lyrical section we had 5 groups pieces compete.
“Welcome Home”
The Performance Training Company Lyrical Group Age 9, “Welcome Home”, placed 1st, choreographed by Danielle Gardner.
“Compassion” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”
We also had two Professional Training Division Lyrical Pieces compete “Compassion”, age 14, choreographed by Danielle Gardner and “Can’t Take My Mind Off of You”, age 15, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle both placed first in their divisions and also won trophies over multiple categories.
“Shake Your Groove Thing”
Our two Professional Training Division Jazz pieces also had amazing performances, “Portis”, age 14, choreographed by Danielle Gardner placed 3rd and “Shake Your Groove Thing”, age 15, choreographed by Lauren Taylor placed 2nd.

Our Junior dancers had a busy weekend competing, congratulations to Victoria Russo who placed 3rd in her Jazz Solo Age 9, Lincoln Russo who placed 2nd in his Jazz Solo Age 7, and Kaiya Carruthers and Camila Lozano Ibarra for placing 2nd in their Duo Lyrical Age 9 – 10.

Carter Hayes placed 1st and received a trophy over two categories for his Lyrical Solo Age 15, and Kaia Neal also placed 1st and received a trophy over two categories for her Lyrical Solo Age 14. Kaia Goddard received 2nd place for her Lyrical Solo Age 15 and 2nd place for her Jazz Solo Age 15. Shanna Lilley placed 3rd in her Lyrical Solo Age 16 years.

Finishing off the Jazz/Lyrical Section were duos, Conrad Cahoon and Shanna Lilley placed 1st for their Duo Lyrical Age 16 – 21 and Aaliyah Fiorda and Kaia Neal placed 2nd for their Duo Lyrical Age 13 – 15 years.
