
Cast of “Nemesis”
The 2020 CLCMDF Dance Sections were a very positive experience, with much instruction from adjudicators who were all very passionate and giving. We are grateful to all the organizers and volunteers who make this event happen!
At this Sunday’s Honours Performance, Kaia Goddard and Mia Reitenbach will be honoured for being selected as delegates to the annual Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival to be held Cranbrook this June; and the following CSD students will receive Workshop Bursaries, Conrad Cahoon for Ballet, Aaliyah Firoda for Jazz, Jaedyn McLaughlin for Tap, and Kaia Goddard for Modern.

At the Honours Performance, the following CSD students will perform:
Kaia, age 16, selected as the CLCMDF Senior (ages 16 to 20 years) Modern and Contemporary Dance Provincial Representative, will perform her Contemporary solo choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle.
Mia, age 13, selected as the CLCMDF Intermediate age (ages 13 to 15 years) Jazz & Stage Dance Provincial Representative, will perform her Jazz solo, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle.
Our Professional Training Division Tap group, will perform“Nemesis”, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle. “Nemesis/Seeing Red” also received a full scholarship to the No Borders Group Dance Challenge, May 9, 2020.
