This past Sunday, March 8, three of our groups, and our two dancers who were selected as Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival (CLCMDF) Provincial Representatives, performed at the festival’s Honours Performance.

“Nemesis”, the CLCMDF 2020 Grand Champion Group of the Tap/Stage Division
Our Professional Training Division Tap “Nemesis” choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle was named the Grand Champion Group of the Tap/Stage Division. The group also received a bursary and a full scholarship to the Surrey Festival of Dance’s “No Borders” Dance challenge Saturday, May 9.

Kaia Goddard, receives the CLCMDF 2020 Grand Champion Award for Solo in Modern/Contemporary Dance.
Kaia Goddard, the CLCMDF 2020 Senior Modern Provincial Representative, performed her Contemporary Solo, choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle, and was named the Grand Champion for Solo in Modern/Contemporary Dance.
Mia Reitenbach, the CLCMDF 2020 Intermediate Stage Provincial Representative, performed her Jazz Solo choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle.

“Another Way” our Professional Training Division Large Jazz Group, choreographed by Lauren Taylor, was awarded a trophy for the Most Entertaining Group Jazz.
