We are looking forward to our 27th being our best year yet with regular 2015-2016 courses starting up tomorrow, Saturday, September 12.
Teachers will do an orientation at the start of each class, so please plan to to attend with your child if possible. If you will want a hair demonstration, please bring hair supplies for your child including a good hair brush. We also have hair demonstration videos, one for supplies and one instructing a classical bun, that you can refer to anytime too.
Your Guidebook outlines attire requirements for every course (and lots of other important information too!).
Registration Fees and Signed Parent/Student & School Agreements:
Any student who does not have a signed agreement and payment (at minimum Registration Fees) will not be permitted to participate in any classes.
Shoes:
A reminder that shoes must be stored neatly out of the way at all times at the School. You can place shoes under the bench in the lobby or use the cubbies in the change rooms. Shoes that have ever touched the ground outside must be completely cleaned before being worn in any of the dance studios.
Parking:
Any spot in the lot is available to you except those in front of warehouse bay doors. There is additional parking along the West side of the complex and upstairs (the staircase is right next to us to the East), and also across the street where signs indicate. Please remember: NO IDLING OF VEHICLE ENGINES OR SMOKING anywhere near the school. Thank you.
Lockers:
If your child would like to have a locker for the year, s/he must submit a hand written request, attention Miss Lauren, that includes:
- schedule for each day of the week
- locker combination
- preferred locker number if applicable
- if s/he is OK to share or would rather not have a locker than share one
- a promise that if assigned a locker, s/he will keep a fresh box of baking soda in it, and keep it clean, closed, AND LOCKED at all times.
Lockers will be assigned by Saturday, September 19.
Welcome! And thank you very much for entrusting us with your child’s performing arts education.
