The Calendar is an indispensable guide to what’s happening in professional dance locally.
This month includes performances including Ballet West (in Victoria), and Wen Wei Dance, Company 605, ILBIJERRI Theatre Company from Australia*, Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot (with whom Caulfield School of Dance principal Cori Caulfield toured for six years)**, and Ballet BC.
* Be advised that ILBIJERRI Theatre Company’s Blood on the Dance Floor includes Adult concepts (sexual & drug references), coarse language, and loud music.
** All four Vancouver performances of Kidd Pivot’s Revisor at the Vancouver Playhouse are completely sold out at this time, but check here to check if anything opens up.
March is looking fantastic too with Montreal’s Compagnie Marie Chouinard (Cori Caulfield was a member this company) presenting Hieronymus Bosch: The Garden of Earthly Delights March 15 & 16, 2019, at the Vancouver Playhouse.
