Kiara takes top spot on the podium after the Scott Creek Triathlon
Congratulations to Caulfield School of Dance student Kiara Burasse for her stellar finish in the Scott Creek 14th Annual Triathlon.
Hundreds of Grade 6 to 8 students from School District 43 Middle Schools including Eagle Mountain, Kwayhquitlum, and Scott Creek, competed in the race on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
Kiara entered as an “Iron Kid” so she completed a 2.0 km run, a 3.0 km bike ride and a 200 metre swim by herself with the fastest times of all the female racers; and she took second place overall too.
We are so proud of Kiara, who proves that dancers have to be amazing athletes as well as artists!
