Caulfield School of Dance singing student Kirsten Kwong is thrilled to be pursuing her passion of Musical Theatre by pursuing Sheridan College’s four year Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program in Oakville, Ontario, her top choice of post-secondary schools. We are proud of Kirsten’s hard work to prepare herself for her post-secondary auditions under voice instructor Dr. Gina Oh and dance instructor and choreographer, Lauren Taylor.
Acceptance to Sheridan is highly competitive so Kirsten knew it was going to be difficult to get into. She was overcome with joy when out of several hundred applicants, she was chosen to be one of the students to attend Sheridan in September. Kirsten trains in Dance, Voice, Acting and Music Theory and has been fortunate enough to have been selected to be in many productions as well as the Arts Club Musical Theatre Intensive. She has competed in many local competitions and performed at many events in and around Vancouver. Kirsten currently works as a singing princess entertainer, going to children’s birthdays dressed as their favorite princess and making their birthdays as magical as possible. Musical Theatre has always been a huge part of her life and she’s looking forward to continuing to follow her passion.
We wish Kirsten every success in pursuing her Music Theatre Performance Program in September at Sheridan and beyond.
