Nolen Finalist in Youth Talent Search BC - Caulfield School of Dance

Caulfield School of Dance student Nolen Dubuc is competing in the Finals of the Youth Talent Search BC!

Nolen’s Mom submitted the video of Nolen performing his tap solo at Synergy dance competition in May. From the video, Nolen was selected to compete in last Saturday’s Semi-Finals in Port Moody at the Inlet Theatre. He made it into the Finals!

Competing with this solo choreographed by Hailley Caulfield-Postle, Nolen has been very successful. At the 2016 Chilliwack Lions Club Music and Dance Festival, he placed 1st in the 8 year old Tap Solo category, and won a trophy over three age classes, and was invited to perform the solo at the Festival’s Honours Performance where he received the “Most Promising Dancer” award.

At the 2016 Synergy Dance Experience, North Vancouver, Nolen was awarded the Mini Dancer of the Year title with his tap solo and competed at the Provincials against the top scoring dancers of all discipline categories from all 2016 Synergy competitions in B.C. to win the Provincial Champion title in the Mini Dancer category at the 2016 Synergy Provincials.
