On Sunday, September 30th we will be holding our first ever Pre-Loved Costume Sale!
The Sale will be 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Caulfield School of Dance.
The Caulfield School of Dance Costume Closet will be putting pieces out for purchase by donation, and costumes brought in by families will also be for sale.
Looking to Buy?
Come to the school between 11:30 – 1:30 pm to see and try on costumes that you may want to use for a solo, duo, or even for Hallowe’en!
The sale will be Cash Only.
Change space will be limited!
We suggest that you bring your dancer with you in form fitting attire/class wear so costumes can be tried on without changing out of clothing.
Looking to Sell?
Bring in your clean* Gently Used Costume to the School between 11 – 11:30 am, on Sunday, September 30.
Please have all items, even accessories, on a hanger.
Make an envelope label for each item you wish to sell. (Payment for your items will be put into the label envelopes for you to pick up after the sale.)
On each envelope write:
- your name
- the size of the item
- and the amount you are charging. Sales will be cash only and volunteers will not make change, so please round all prices to the nearest full dollar.
Use a safety pin to attach the envelope label to each article you are selling.
Volunteers will have tables set up and sell items on your behalf.
Please ensure you come between 1:30 – 2:00 pm to collect any unsold items and/or cash. Any items not picked up by 2 pm on the 30th will be donated to the Caulfield School of Dance Shoe Library/Costume Bank or other charity.
* Costumes for sale should be free of stains, and clean. Usually hand washing in cold water and laying flat to dry is best for costumes, unless spot cleaning is the safest option (i.e. tutus).
