Congratulations on amazing performances over the past few days in the Stage and Tap section of Chilliwack Festival!
“Zoot Suit Riot” was awarded the Highest Score of ALL group numbers of all genres (!) in the entire festival and the other two tap groups we entered, “Jailhouse Rock” and “Jump Jive an’ Wail” both placed 1st in their classes too. All of our group tap numbers were choreographed by Hailley Caulfield Postle.
“School of Rock”
Caulfield School of Dance had two Song and Dance groups prepared and choreographed by Jocelyn Gauthier compete on the Friday evening: “School of Rock” received 1st place in Song and Dance 9 – 10, and our Professional Training Division group received 1st place in Song and Dance 15 – 16 years with “Bring it On” .
Kirsten Volberg, age 17, took home a 2nd place for her Song and Dance Solo Age 16 – 17 years, prepared and choreographed by Jocelyn Gauthier.

All our Tap solos and two duos, had amazing performances.
Taia Fiorda and Victoria Russo placed 1st for their Duo Tap Age 10, Lincoln Russo for placing 1st for Solo Tap Age 7, and Taia Fiorda for placing 1st for Solo Tap Age 10. Alexis Fiorda placed 3rd for her Tap Solo Age 12 and Aaliyah Fiorda placed 3rd for her Tap Solo Age 14.

Finishing off the Tap Solos were Kaia Goddard who placed 1st for her Tap Solo Age 15 and Kirsten Volberg who placed 1st for her Tap Solo Age 17.
Kaia Goddard and Abriel Da Silva placed 1st for their Tap Duo Age 15 – 16, choreographed by Katherine Cahoon.
