Posting from Fraser Hart, filmmaker:
DANCE VIDEO
A filmmaker looking for an advanced or professional dancer to create a dance-music video.
WHERE: As many cool looking isolated non-touristic locations as possible, preferebly in the outdoors of BC and other provinces (the Rockies, fields, beaches, lakes, riversides, and so on…).
WHO: Me, photographer/videographer and you, the dancer.
WHY: to create a beautiful dynamic powerful music video with the theme of human and nature. The video will capture the dancer performing in the outdoors, different locations, weather coditions, seasons, portraying the human as a dynamic and vivid element of nature.
YOUR JOB: is to dance, do your best, give 100%, go wild. Feel the music, feel the location and express them through your body. I don’t care how old you are, all I care about is that your dancing is flawless. You’re respnsible for the choreography, I can help with costumes.
MY JOB: is to film you, come up with ways to capure the most mindblowing shots possible in prime locations and light conditions.
WHEN: within 6 months
EQUIPMEMT:
– 4K camera mounted on a drone
– 4K camera mounted on a gimbal system
– DSLR photo camera with a few prime lenses
– GoPros
– a few other cameras that might or might not be of use like polaroids and such
MONEY: I can’t pay you. But it has been a dream of mine to put a video like that together. It’s going to be an adventure, a road trip, time off, a journey of the unknown for me and for you. I am dedicated to put my skillls and time into it and I’m hoping you’re too. It’s going to take a heck lot of preparations, planning, and organizing; waiting for good weather conditions, facing the elements and the situations that will come up, but its all about being creative.
WHAT ARE YOU GONNA GET OUT OF IT: at the least a wicked video for your use plus a bunch of cool photos. If the video gets successful online, you and I will get kown through youtube, vimeo and social media.
ABOUT ME: a 30yo female, graduate from a photography/film school. I live in northern BC. If interested, message Fraser Hart at fraserhartcfs@gmail.com with DANCE VIDEO in the subject line.
